How to Hire a Web Developer for Your Motorcycle Dealership

Published: 26th September 2018
Web Developer

Owning a motorcycle dealership is a load of work already. You always want people to come in and purchase some wheels to get the business going, but not everyone has the time to come into your dealership and inquire about your offerings. That is where today's technology comes in handy. Anyone with an internet connection can access your website and see what motorcycle is the right fit for them.

How exactly do you run your website for your motorcycle dealership if you do not know how to code? The answer is simple: go online and search for 'web design malaysia' to hire a web developer. Here are some tips on how to hire a web developer for your motorcycle dealership.

Know what you need and who you need

In this step, you must pinpoint what kind of help does your website exactly need. There are three experts who can help you:

Graphic Designer

A graphic designer handles the aesthetics of the website. He or she can create images, logos, and graphics that are appropriate to your website. It is not guaranteed, though, that they have coding knowledge.

Web Designer

A web designer creates the website layout, how you want it to look like, and how it interacts with the user. They possess coding skills, although not to the level of a website developer. Most use code-free website builders.

Web Developer

A web developer is capable of making any type of website you like. They know the ins and outs of a website, but it is not also guaranteed that they are good at designing it.

Let us say that you do not have a website yet, you then hire a web developer because he or she will code your desired website into a reality. A web developer, however, cannot guarantee to provide a good design like a graphic or web designer.

Gauge your web developer's skill

It is a necessity to get to know the person who is going to help you build your website. You need to get to know this person which includes knowing his technical skills. No one wants to work with someone who is not responsible or has a terrible work ethic. You do not want to waste your money so you would want someone who will deliver the service you paid for. Some tips on how to do so are:

  • Ask for a portfolio of past works to see if they can deliver the results you would like.
  • Check reviews and ratings of the web developer from past customers. This can ensure what type of work ethic he or she has.
  • Discuss the developer's style and opinions on certain ideas. Asking questions can reveal if the developer is confident about his/her ideas and skills.
  • Opt for an experienced developer. This does not undermine amateur or new developers, but simply elaborates that those experienced can work faster.

There are a lot of talents that contribute to creative web design in Malaysia. It is a good tip to know that experienced developers cost a bit more, but results are expected to be of great quality. It is even advantageous for your business if your website is developed by a team consisting of a web designer and developer. They can also provide you with better insights as to the latest trends in your area, for example, the latest web design trends in Malaysia. This can actually turn out to be a good investment in the long run, with greater chances of attracting visitors to your site and converting them into your customers.

Effects of Cannabis Oil on A Motorcycle Rider

Published: 20th September 2018
Motorbike Tour

When the Cannabis sativa is processed into marijuana, it is known for giving that psychoactive effect that makes you feel "high" which is actually caused by the chemical, tetrahydrocannabinol. Hemp, the least processed form of the plant, is known to be used for its cannabinoid properties. It is processed into what is more commonly known as CBD oils which are used for medicinal purposes like in alleviating pain and inflammation.

CBD oils can be used thru different methods. It can be ingested by being mixed in food, taken directly with an instrument like a dropper, or swallowed in capsule form. It can also be applied to the skin and can also come in a spray bottle.

Riding a motorcycle can be tiring and can drain your energy. It can work up your body and joints by riding and being in the same position for a long period of time. CBD oil can give you that shot of energy without the psychoactive effects the cannabis plant is known for. When in situations that you have to power through your tired state, CBD oil can help. Besides that extra boost of energy, CBD oils can also aid in other situations such as helping in reducing anxiety and stress and aiding in alleviating chronic pains and inflammations.

CBD oil also benefits in other ways such as for heart-related conditions, acne prevention, substance abuse treatment, diabetes prevention, and many more.

If you are preparing for a race (do check if taking CBD oils are against rules and regulations) or simply going out on a motorcycle drive when you are tired, CBD oils is one way to power through your exhaustion or help treat existing conditions and pains that may interfere with your performance during the race.

Like many other things, CBD oil has its known side effects. These include nausea, vomiting, dry mouth, dizziness, depression, diarrhea, and weight change. Always consult your doctor before using CBD oils. This will help minimize damage or worsen any existing conditions. Do a test run on how the CBD oil affects you before riding your motorcycle. The oil may affect individuals differently so safety should be considered first! Do also take it in small doses. It is important to always be cautious of the amount you take in because too much can pose as a threat and danger, most especially when driving.

In instances that you need that jolt of energy despite the weary and tired feeling you are already in, consider taking CBD oil (more importantly with your doctor's approval) for a better alternative to other energy boosters such as energy drinks.

All these discoveries about CBD oils are simply just the tip of the iceberg, and all so far have looked promising. Hopefully, experts will uncover more good benefits that CBD oil can offer us.

The taking CBD oils is a good option for improving one's performance while driving a motorcycle. Be wary and careful, though, with how much you take and what its side effects are. Keep safe and have a great drive!

Riding A Motorcycle with Children Safely

Published: 8th September 2018
Child on Motorbike

Motorcycle rides are probably one of the most dangerous modes of transportation, but owning a motorcycle has its perks - low maintenance, you do not need a big parking space, smaller fuel usage, and a lot more. Having a motorcycle, though, can also mean you can only tag one person along; they can be any member of your family including children. Yes, motorcycle rides with children can happen. And when the time comes you will be confronted with the number one issue in riding a motorcycle, safety.

As parents, our priority will always be our childrens safety. From the moment they started to walk, we would search for the best baby walker to ensure that are safe. However, motorcycle rides can be fun and memorable if you take the following into account:

Buy a reliable kid's helmet

A helmet is the most important gear for motorcycle rides. It protects the rider from head injuries that can cause brain trauma. It is also vital to use a helmet based on the child's age. Do not use an adult helmet on kids; otherwise, it defeats the purpose of using them. Make sure that the helmet is also D.O.T certified.  Here are some tips on buying the right kid's helmet.

Size

Make sure that the helmet fits perfectly. The helmet should not easily fall off during quick turns or if a fall or collision happens.

Helmet Padding

When buying a motorcycle helmet for children always check if the helmet is padded properly. High-quality padding for helmets is important for long rides, especially for children.

Full face helmet

This helmet should wrap the entire head and should have a face cover that shields every part of the child's face and skull.

Motorcycle jacket

Just like the helmet, stay away from giving kids an adult motorcycle jacket; it will be too loose for them and it could hinder them from moving freely and comfortably. A child wearing a loose-fitting jacket will not be protected. You can check quality motorcycle jackets online.

Hand gloves

Children should wear hand gloves during motorcycle rides to absorb sweat especially when they are holding on to the riding belts. Our initial instinct when we fall is to throw our hands out to protect our body, wearing gloves can protect the hands from broken glass or any debris that the children can fall into when they stick their hands out.

Long pants

Make sure your child wears thick comfortable pants to protect them from scratch, debris, and hot pipes.

Riding belts

Riding belts are also important to have when riding with children. Since they have smaller arms they will not be able to wrap their arms around your waist in order for them to hold on tightly. Riding belts solves this dilemma.

The key to having an enjoyable ride with children is to make them feel safe and secure. Try short rides to give them a feel of what riding a motorcycle can be.  Make sure to follow road signs and obey traffic rules when riding with kids, set a proper example, in that way your children will feel more relaxed riding a motorcycle. Make sure they are comfortable and they are not afraid. Encourage the children to express their thoughts and feelings about the motorcycle ride.

Ken's Yamaha Now 3D Printing Repair Parts

What is a 3D printer?

A 3D printer can print anything. It can make ceramic cups to even plastic toys. Ken's Yamaha offers repair services and replacement parts. 3D printing allows us to accurately create repair parts that will surely fit your motorcycle perfectly, click here to see what we mean. 3D printing also allows us to give you a more personalized repair service and parts. You will definitely have a motorcycle that will be unique to you.

Why do you call it printing?

If you look at the page where text was printed through a microscope, you will see that the letters are not just laying flatly on the paper. The letters are actually sitting lightly on top of the paper and not just staining the page. The theory goes that if you print the exact same thing on the page, the ink will build up into layers. The more you print, the more it will become a 3D model of the text. That is the idea of how 3D printers work.

How does it work?

Imagine being able to replace a part easily with something better. 3D printing allows you to print the part that was damaged. 3D printing makes production affordable. It also allows the owners to personalize almost anything and everything.

3D printing starts with creating a 3d model in the computer using programs like CAD or Computer Aided Design or any other 3D modeling software. You can create a model from the ground up with the 3D modeling software or use data from a 3D scanner. A 3D scanner creates a digital copy of an object.

3D printing does not limit you from using a single type of material. You can practically make everything using anything. You can print on metals, bioproducts, and even fabrics.

What are the advantages?

Before 3D printing was available, people had to carve everything in wood or stick pieces of plastic to create a prototype. Now, manufacturers can show customers a prototype where the clients can make alterations before it is too late.

3D printing lets you create complex parts which you cannot recreate using traditional manufacturing procedures. It will also make the part to be more customizable. This makes everything uniquely yours. 3D printing allows us at Ken's Yamaha to create parts that will meet your specific needs. Plus, it will also be done speedily. You no longer have to wait for months on end for a single part.

3D printing produces less waste as well since it will only be using the material that is needed for the part. It will not be needing casts or molds. Furthermore, most of the materials that are used for printing can be reused to create more 3D printed items.

With the 3D printing now available in Ken's Yamaha (visit us at kensyamaha.com), your imagination is the limit. Many believe that 3D printing will start a revolution in many of the manufacturing industries. It does not only lower the production costs, but it is cost effective as well.
